About

James Davis is a ten-year resident of interior Alaska, where he works by day as an electronics technician. He interest in photography started at an early age, and he has always been fascinated by the technical aspects of exposure, darkroom development, and experimental techniques. Though he has never given up his film habit, he relies more and more on digital imaging these days.

His photographic interests include wildlife and nature, technology (especially older photographic technology), astrophotography, and experimental techniques. Located near Fairbanks in Interior Alaska, he periodically travels all over the state with camera in hand.
